Q: I get an error message on the Cart page when I try to select the default shipping or payment methods.


A:  It would appear you are not logged in as a customer and the shop doesn't know where you are and so cannot apply shipping or payment rules. Log in and carry on from your cart page.  You can also just ignore the default options and click on the "Checkout Now" button at the bottom right of the screen and login to your shop account on the next page where the appropriate shipping rates will be automatically set.
