Nat Semi MM74C244N Tri-state Octal Buffer / Line Driver DIL20
Description
Nat Semi MM74C244N Tri-state Octal Buffer / Line Driver DIL20
Manufactured by national Semiconductor - MM74C244N - DIL20 through hole package
The MM74C244N is a 3-state octal buffer or line Driver can be used as two 4-bit or one 8-bit buffer. The device features two output enables (1OE and 2OE), each controlling four of the 3-state outputs. A high on nOE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs include clamp diodes that enable the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.
The MM74C244N is an octal non-inverting buffer/line drivers with 3-state outputs. The 3-state outputs are controlled by the output enable inputs 1OE and 2OE.
A HIGH on nOE causes the outputs to assume a high impedance OFF-state. The “244” is identical to the “240” but has non-inverting outputs.
